Travelling by bus
As a bus driver or a member of a bus terminal staff you are naturally in a daily touch with tourists from foreign countries. Here is the basic vocabulary and phrases you would probably need to communicate with them in your job.
In Great Britain, there are two different expressions for the Czech word “autobus”.
The expression BUS we use for a vehicle constructed especially for short journeys
(for example within cities or bigger towns).
A COACH is a vehicle used for longer journeys, so they are usually more comfortable
than “normal” buses.
